@DSB. It's all about diet. Wayne will tell you the same thing, but the diet plays a major role in your results, and if you don't commit to it, you won't get the results you want. Just follow the Nutrition Guide.

Also, have you made me your coach yet? If not, you can do so by going to this link: https://teambeachbody.com/signup/-/signup/free/47458

Hey Coach, I bought P90X on a whim, and after doing research, I came across your transformation and was completely blown away. But I would like some assistance. I've been working out for years (weights and cardio) while never having a good and clean diet. Through P90X, I've learned that diet is so important. I fit into the 2400 calorie bracket and followed the manual to the T- without positive results (I felt like I was overeating, so I reduced my calories to 2000). In general, I gain weight easily, but have a hard time losing it. I've read up on your site and on Wayne's site that you both did a calorie deficit, while still following the 50 protein/30 carb/20 fat. My goal is to lose the excess baggage (I'm 5'10 and 185lbs, BMI of 26...hoping to get down to about 170 and BMI in the mid-teens). I have restarted my 90 days just 3 days ago, with a meal plan consisting of 1900 calories, following the 50/30/20. I want to lose the fat, but build muscle (using a 6-10 rep range)...I know there isn't really a question in this post, but do you have any advice for someone who is an easy gainer, a hard loser and someone who wants to have a result that is even half as good as yours?

@Adam. I'm actually not too sure which exercise from P90X focuses on the lower back. You might want to Google it to find a good one.

Coach, I have lower back pain, but its manageable, so can you tell me how to really build my lower back muscles and gain more strength in it? Like a particular exercise? Thx!

@John. If you want to lose weight, you need to make sure you follow both the diet and workouts. A combination of diet and exercise is important for getting into great shape. Are you going through P90X?

@Lyman. I actually don't have a P90X diet for vegetarians yet. You might want to check the Beachbody Website actually.

@Yi. Do you have to eat the rice? You're going to find that you will have to make some sacrifices if you want outstanding results. It happened to me, and it happened to every other person who got great results with the program. If you have to eat rice, stick with brown rice, and cut down your portions.

Also, if you decide to get P90X, you can do so from this site, and I will become your coach and help you through the program! Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi Josh,
I've been thinking about starting p90x. I am asian and with the asian food intake that includes a good amount of rice. We eat it with most of our meals. It's going to be hard to change my diet to follow the p90x diet plan. Do you have any suggestions on how I can kind of work the two diet together?
