Becoming a Beachbody Coach

Becoming A Beachbody Coach

My life is not the same as it used to be. In fact, it’s done a complete 180 over the past 4 years, all thanks to one little decision I made to start P90X and eventually become a Beachbody Coach. It’s not too often that I share the reasons or my WHY in becoming a Beachbody Coach, but I want to take some time to talk to you about that now, along with share why I feel that becoming a Beachbody Coach is something that you should consider as well, just as long as you’re passionate about the right things. I will explain those things below.

It all goes back to when I was in high school. For those of you who don’t know, I used to be involved in a program called Big Brother Big Sisters. Some of you might have heard of it before, but for those of you who haven’t, it’s a program that assigns you (a “Big”) to a young child who has a troubled life. In my case, the boy I was assigned to was named David. David was 8 at the time I met him, and he lived with his grandmother and his sister. His parents were drug addicts running from the cops, and his sister was a paraplegic because her father got into an accident with her in the car when she was a baby. He was high at the time. She was paralyzed from the neck down, and the parents abandoned her and David and left them to their grandmother to take care of them. David had no fatherly figure or direction, so Donna (the grandmother) signed up to be a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and that’s when the stars aligned and they found me. I was David’s “Big” all throughout high school and did my best to show him the difference between right and wrong, and to try to be a positive role model. After I had to stop being his “Big” due to beginning college, from that point on I knew that I needed to do something with my life that allowed me to have a positive impact on others’ lives.

After college I became a Financial Advisor and yes, it was a good career, but I felt something was missing. I didn’t feel fulfilled. About 3 months later I came across P90X, got into the best shape of my life, became very passionate about health and fitness, and then was asked about becoming a Beachbody Coach. I knew NOTHING about the Beachbody Business, but I did know that it was going to allow me to do something that I enjoyed doing, and that’s help people. In fact, that’s the only reason I joined! From day 1, my mission and goal was to change as many lives as possible, to help people realize that they can indeed accomplish their health goals and feel great about themselves again. Because that was my mission, my Beachbody Business exploded. What’s crazy is that I really wasn’t trying to build it into an actual business, but rather just loved doing it so much that I COULDN’T STOP! Every day I woke up the first thing I would do is check my inbox or Facebook to see if someone else was emailing me asking for help. More and more people emailed me, asking me to support them, and then the emails about me helping them change their life started rolling in, and that was it. There is nothing better than knowing you have helped change a life, and the feeling of accomplishment, of fulfillment took over me. From that point on I KNEW this was what I was put on this earth to do, and knew that I needed to become a full-time Beachbody Coach!

I started focusing my efforts on learning more and more about the business, reaching out to more and more people to help them change their lives, and my Beachbody Coach business exploded so fast and so much that I was able to make it my full-time career in January of 2010! I was overwhelmed with joy because I knew that I could now do something I loved doing every day, make enough money to support my family, and yet change hundreds or thousands of lives at the same time. That’s what becoming a Beachbody Coach is all about! When you’re extremely passionate about something, you will succeed at it, and my passion is what led me to become the Top Beachbody Coach 2010. For me, winning Top Coach was not about me, but about all of the people who’s lives I had been able to impact in a positive way. It was because of them that I won the Top Beachbody Coach award!

If you’re thinking about becoming a Beachbody Coach, remember, if you want to be successful you have to be passionate about helping other people and about health and fitness. If you approach this business as a way to make money, you won’t be successful and you won’t be fulfilled. The Beachbody Coach business is about CHANGING LIVES, but what’s so unbelievable about it is that you get paid to do it at the same time. In my opinion you won’t find a better opportunity out there!
