Lately, I have been signing up a ton of coaches and getting many of you contacting me with interest in the Beachbody Coaching Opportunity. As I’ve already said before, this is an excellent opportunity and one that I highly believe in, especially for someone joining my team. I’ve decided to put together a list of commonly asked questions about the Beachbody coaching business and my reponses to them.
Q: What is the Beachbody Coaching Opportunity?
A: About 5 years ago Beachbody decided to create an MLM business for those who wanted to help others get into shape. They believed that people would have a better chance to succeed with programs like P90X, Insanity, Chalean Extreme, etc. if they had the support and motivation from a coach. In return for these coaches helping others get into shape, they would earn a commission from any Beachbody products that the people that they coach would purchase from www.teambeachbody.com. Since then, many people, including myself, have been able to turn this into a full-time job, and the great thing is that you have the same opportunity!
Q: What are the responsibilities of a coach?
A: As a coach, it’s your responsibility to help motivate and support people going through a Beachbody program, and answer any questions that they would have.
Q: Is the Beachbody Coaching Opportunity a scam?
A: No, it’s not a scam. In fact, it’s far from it! Believe it or not, I thought it was a scam when I was first introduced to it, but after some research and talking to other successful coaches, I knew that it was a legitimate opportunity.
Q: How much does it cost to be a coach?
A: It’s very cheap to become a coach, with just an initial sign up fee of $39.95 and $14.95 a month thereafter. The $14.95 per month is for the Back Office that beachbody provides that keeps track of your sales, personal volume, team volume, team sales, customers, coaches, etc., and also has some great training information. You will also get two websites to help kick start your business.
Q: How much time do you have to dedicate to become a successful coach?
A: The amount of time you spend building your business is completely up to you. When I first started coaching, I had a full time job as a Financial Advisor, working about 12 hours a day. I spent maybe an hour working on the Beachbody Coaching Business, focusing on learning as much as I could and helping others. I got into coaching to help people, and didn’t realize the tremendous opportunity to eventually do it as a full-time job. I realized the possibility of turning it into a full-time job at around the 8 month mark, and then started dedicating more time learning about the business side of it.
Q: When did you turn it into a full-time job?
A: I quit my job and decided to do coaching full-time about a year and a half after signing up.
Q: Do I have to have great results to be a coach?
A: No! You just have to have a passion for improving your own fitness and helping others. It will be important for you to be going through a Beachbody program yourself, but you don’t have to have tremendous results to become a coach. In fact, I always tell my new coaches coming in that they are more than welcome to use my transformation as a marketing tool.
Q: What if I’m not a good salesperson?
A: I don’t feel this is a sales job. In fact, I’ve never actually tried to “sell” anything yet, but am one of the top coaches in the nation for personal sales. I did that for my Financial Advising job and didn’t enjoy it. The way I run my business is by recommending products that I have used and have worked for me. Because of my confidence in these products, I have no problem recommending them to others, and people are always looking for products that will help them lose weight and get into shape!
Q: Do I have to have a ton of knowledge about diet, supplements, and workouts to be a coach?
A: No, not at all! You just have to have knowledge of Beachbody products so that you can help others through the program they are using, which takes a short time to learn. Remember, your main goal is to help support and motivate people through the program! However, as I have progressed through my coaching career, I have done much research about diet, workouts, and supplements to help provide better advice for all of the people that I coach.
Q: Is there a benefit for joining your team?
A: Because I am one of the top recruiters in the nation and how I place coaches in my downline, there is a tremendous benefit for signing up under me. Each coach earns voume points from every coach that I place under them, and because of how many coaches I sign up, each coach can easily have anywhere from 5-15 new coaches under them in just a month. I will get into more detail about this once we set up a call.
Q: Can we set up a call for you to answer my specific questions about the opportunity?
A: Yes. In fact, this is something that I highly encourage you do so that you know exactly what’s involved before you get signed up. If you want to set up a call, email me at email@example.com.
Q: How do I sign up to become a Beachbody Coach?
*If you already have a Beachbody account, make sure you send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org before you sign up to make sure that I will be your coach.*
