@Nick. The reason you're supposed to eat 5-6 times a day is to keep your metabolism sped up. Follow the the book recommends because they recommend it for a reason.

I dont really like eating 5 to 6 times a day because I feel like I have just had to much to eat. So I was wondering if eating 3 times a day is ok if I am trying to lose weight?

@Josh. I don't think there is a problem with doing that, and yeah, breakfast is supposed to be one of the biggest meals of the day.

Hey Josh,
Is it ok to get up to eat breakfast at about 7 and then go back to sleep till around 9 or 10 on the weekends? And is it ok that i feel kind of full after a breakfast of cheerios and a protein shake? I mean breakfast is suppose to be the biggest meal of the day, right?

Josh,

Hey what's up my fit brother! Results are great man, always great to see people like you treating their bodies the way they should be. I share a lot of similarities with your journey and also had awesome results because of p90x.

But anyways, I wanted to pick your mind about something. I love doing my cardio workouts first thing in the morning, even plyo x, because I've found that it dips right in to my fat storage. So my basic question to you is, do you know of/have a postworkout smoothie like drink that could also sub as my breakfast? I was thinking like some basic whey with some fruit, maybe some skim milk but I thought I'd ask you first.

Thanks man

@Kevin. I would follow a f/c/p % of 20/50/30 if you're looking to gain mass, and increase the cals to at least 3,000 per day.

Hey Josh! I'm really struggling getting my diet correct. I don't have much fat to lose, only a little stomach fat, and was wondering what ratio of protein/carb/fat should I consume if I'm trying to gain as much muscle as possible. I'm 6'2" and weight about 170lbs. I am at nutrition level 2 (2400 calories) of the P90x meal plan though I'm thinking I should up it to about 3000 calories to maximize my gains. Is this correct?
