P90X Review: “I was a wrestler all through high school so I was in pretty good shape. The day I graduated that had all changed. I no longer ate healthy and I didn’t care about working out. About two years later I noticed I had a little extra fat that I didn’t have before and to be honest, I didn’t care. Then before I knew it, I started to notice that I was actually getting “fat”. I knew I had to start working out but I couldn’t get myself motivated. I was watching TV late one night and I saw the P90X infomercial. I’m sure like everybody else out there I was thinking it was just another way to waste money but I noticed something. The people were actually working hard! There was something about that infomercial that caught my eye. I was on the fence for about a year before I got it and I wish I would have gotten it sooner! The program had everything I needed, cardio, weight training and even a nutrition plan! I thought wow; this could really be the real deal. You know what, IT IS! I ate right, I pushed myself through the workouts and I started to see results after 2 weeks. My clothes were starting to fit better, I had more energy and I felt great! That pushed me even harder in my workouts. By day 30 I was like cool, I really am getting leaner. By day 60 I was like this program is amazing! I could see my abs again! At the end of the program I had a six pack and loving it! I loved how intense the program was. It wasn’t a twenty minute workout then ok bye thing. It was one hour all out sweat fest! Tony Horton also showed different ways to do some of the workouts which I thought was great. There was an easy version, intermediate version and a hard version which was cool to me because those were goals. The diet plan was great too! It was very easy to follow. It told me exactly what I could and could not eat. The P90X program is a great program for anyone!”
Q: How did Coach Josh help you with your transformation?
A: “Let’s ask the question, “How did he not help me?” Coach Josh helped me with any question I had. He told me what to eat, what meals he ate , how many times a day, how many calories he ate a day, I mean EVERYTHING! He told me how he was able to put on mass, how he changed his diet and when he took supplements to help with recovery and so on. Any question I had for him, he was glad to answer it. Coach Josh was a VERY good coach and still is! Thanks Josh!”
