Ultimate Reset Review: Day 1

Oh man, it’s tough to focus on writing this now because the headache I currently have is TERRIBLE, but I’m not going to talk about that right now and give you guys an accurate Ultimate Reset Review of Day 1.

So as you know, I started the Beachbody Ultimate Reset yesterday. I decided to do it because I’ve had years of bad eating habits and know I have many toxins built up in my body. Needless to say, it’s time to “reset” the system, and I was a little hesitant to do it at first since I wouldn’t be able to work out for 21 days, but the pro’s outweighed the cons and now I’m on Day 2. So, here’s my Ultimate Reset Review: Day 1….

Yesterday was strange. I really don’t know of any other way to describe it, but I just felt strange all day long. Let’s start from the morning. When we woke up, we took our Ultimate Reset Supplements for the first time. And when I say “we,” I mean my wife Melinda and I. First, we drank 16 oz of distilled water with the Mineralize supplement, and then we took the Optimize pills and lastly, the oxygen drops. A half hour later we had breakfast, and I was really surprised with the amount of food that we were supposed to eat. Surprised in a good way of course because I like to eat! Anyways, we had 2 pieces of 100% whole grain toast, 2 cups fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and kale. Everything tasted good to me except the kale, and I’m going to start replacing it with spinach, which is one of the options.

About an hour later I started feeling very spaced out. I was having trouble focusing and started getting tired as well. Shortly after it was time to take the supplements again, so we did, and then waited a half hour to eat. Lunch was EXCELLENT yesterday, and we had a salad that had spinach leaves, sunflower seeds, cucumber, carrots, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, dill, and then a healthy creamy garlic dressing. Surprisingly, it filled me up, and I was good for a few hours.

Next, it was time to take the Alkalinize supplement. From what I heard about it from others, it is NASTY, so I was expecting it, but it didn’t make it any better. It was gross, but I choked it down. Then I decided that I was going to mow the lawn, causing me to miss my snack, and that was a mistake. I was STARVING by the time 6:00 PM rolled around! I drank a lot of water, though, and held off until dinner, which was excellent. We had baked salmon with lemon, baby potatoes, and asparagus, and again I was surprised with the amount of food! I actually felt full afterwards.

Late last night is when the headache started coming on, probably somewhere around midnight or so, and it stayed with me all through the night. I have been expecting it, though, since I didn’t drink any caffeine. I will pick up on how I feel today in my post tomorrow.
