Ultimate Reset Review: Days 5-6

Ultimate Reset Reviews: Days 5-6

Oh man, what can I say, this has been some experience so far. The Ultimate Reset is eating me alive, but I tell you what, it’s really testing my ability to commit to something. I haven’t had to commit to anything like this since I started P90X back in 2008, and even that was easier than this. This is hard, there is no doubt about that! As much as I may hate it, though, I love it because it’s a challenge for me. What keeps me going every day is the challenging nature of it, but also because I know I’m doing something that my body DESPERATELY needs! I’m cleaning out my system of all the toxins that have been built up over the years, and if I have to make these sacrifices and go through pain to get there, so be it. Completely worth it to me!

OK, so on to my days 5-6 Ultimate Reset reviews. Friday was another one of those interesting days for me. It actually started out well for me, the aches were beginning to disappear, I had more energy, but then as I went through the day it sort of flipped on me. The reason, though, is because of my allergies. I’ve had TERRIBLE allergies for many years, and come this time a year I’m always on some sort of medication, but while on the Ultimate Reset we aren’t allowed to use any medication, and as you can imagine, it turned into a disaster. Not thinking about it, we went cruising in my BMW Z4 with the top down and that was all she wrote. I could barely drive because I was sneezing so much, and when I got home it just got even worse. My eyes were watering, I set a new record for sneezing in an hour, and I was just completely miserable! Not fun, but there was nothing I could do.

When I woke up on Saturday, I knew I was going to have another one of “those days.” My allergies were going to tear me up once again, so I decided that I was just going to sit inside all day long. On top of that, I was COMPLETELY exhausted, maybe it was because of all the allergy attacks, I don’t know, but I just felt like laying around and doing nothing, so that’s exactly what I did. After lunch my stomach started doing some funky things and I ended up getting sick for the first time while doing the Reset. However, that was the only occurrence during the day. Things started getting better towards the end of the day, but then one of those terrible headaches that I experienced on Day 2 made an appearance. It’s so strange because I got nauseas again, had light and sound sensitivity, and just wanted to sit in quiet and do nothing. I just decided to go to bed, hoping that the headache would be gone in the morning, and thankfully it is!

Again, the Ultimate Reset has been challenging, but I’m pushing through all the obstacles and committing myself 100% to the program. It works, I know it works from seeing all the Reset success stories and talking to Beachbody Corporate, but it doesn’t make it any easier. Days 5-6 done, day 7 here I come!
