When I was going through my first round of P90X, I had a full time job as a financial advisor, and would be absolutely starving an hour after I got into work in the morning. I needed something that was healthy and I could snack on, and would also give me some energy to get me through until lunch. That was when I decided to buy my first box of P90X Protein Bars.
The first flavor that I got was Cafe Mocha, and I absolutely loved it! The only other flavor they had at the time was Wildberry, and it didn’t sound too appetizing. I’m a big coffee fan, so I decided to give the Cafe Mocha protein bars a shot. Once I tried them, I was addicted, and went through them like they were candy! I was eating about 2 bars per day: one as a morning snack and the other as an afternoon snack, about an hour before my workout.
The P90X protein bars are now called P90X Peak Performance Bars, and there are 4 different flavors: Cafe Mocha, Wildberry Yogurt, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Fudge. I have tried every one of them except the Chocolate fudge, and suprisingly, I even liked the Wildberry! I got a chance to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Wildberry on my Cayman Island trip that I won through being a Beachbody Coach. My best friend Greg came along with us and he brought along 2 boxes of Beachbody P90X Protein Bars, and we went through those pretty quickly. I would have one right after I worked out in the morning because I didn’t have any whey protein, and also one as a mid-afternoon snack while laying on the beach.
