Last night during my weekly Beachbody Business webinar that I hold, I talked a little but about the importance of combining P90X and Shakeology if you want to maximize your results. In my opinion, you can’t do one without the other because they are both that important.
As I talk about all the time, the only way to see success with P90X is to commit yourself 100% to both the diet and the workouts. If you don’t commit, you won’t get the results you want, it’s as simple as that. Many people think that they can cheat on the diet two or three times during the week, but it doesn’t work that way. In fact, it takes me about 2-3 days to work off 1 cheat day, so if you’re cheating on your diet 2-3 times, you’re going to make very slow progress or no progress at all. I didn’t get the results I got in 90 days by cheating on my diet, drinking beer, and skipping workouts here and there. No, I committed 100% to the ENTIRE program.
When I first started P90X, Shakeology wasn’t around. I had to follow the P90X Nutrition Guide and prepare my lunch every single day. It was tough, especially since I was working 14 hours a day as a new financial adviser (which I HATED btw). I remember going out to eat with my coworkers to places like Panera, Oliver Garden, Applebees, and the occasional mexican restaurant, and it was almost near impossible to eat 100% healthy. I would usually end up asking for a salad with a light dressing everywhere I went, and over time, I got a little sick of salads. Plus, I was spending quite a bit of money, usually $8-$12 on a salad I could make at home. Once I was introduced to Shakeology, I saw it as an opportunity to eat something 100% healthy for me for lunch every day, get my daily vitamins, and save money in the process. Instead of spending the $8-$12 on a plain salad, I was spending about $4 on a meal replacement that I knew was healthy, would help me work towards my fitness goals, and would keep me full for a good 2-3 hours. Plus, if you blend it with ice, peanut butter, and almond milk, it tastes like a Reeses Cup, which helped with my chocolate cravings. After my first month of combining P90X and Shakeology, I lost an extra 10 lbs.
Because I got the results I did from using P90X and Shakeology, I decided to start recommending the two together. That’s when I got pretty much my entire family and all my friends to commit to P90X and Shakeology every day. After they completed their 90 days, some of them got outstanding results. My dad, for example, lost 35 lbs combining the two and a buddy of mine ended up losing something like 90 lbs in 90 days, which is outstanding! I have another buddy of mine using P90X and Shakeology right now, and he has lost something like 17 lbs in about 50 days or so. Now, everyone is addicted to Shakeology and recommending the combination to others like I am.
If you’re going through P90X and really want to see drastic results, you have to combine P90X and Shakeology! Of all the different workout programs that I have done in the past and all the different supplements that I’ve tried, P90X and Shakeology are by far at the top!
