Most of you know that for the past 3 weeks or so I have been going through Brazil Butt Lift. Melinda went through the program as well, but has now shifted her attention to TurboFire, which is a new high intensity program by Chalene Johnson. Anyways, the reason we have been doing Brazil Butt Lift is because we wanted to focus some attention on developing out booties! We feel that if we want firm, toned butts, we need a program designed to work the buttocks. Most other Beachbody programs focus on complete fitness, and not too much attention on the butt, and Brazil Butt Lift offers a way for us to spend more time developing that muscle group. So what’s the secret on how to tone the butt?
The secret to how to tone the butt is in muscle confusion and resistance training. The one thing I really like about Brazil Butt Lift is the fact that I am doing exercises that I have never done, let along seen before. It’s confusing the heck out of my muscles, which is one of the main reasons why I’m so sore for a good 3-4 days afterward. Brazil Butt Lift involves a unique combination of squats, lunges, and some different exercises that I don’t even think can fit into a category, such as booty shakin’? Not sure what that one would be placed under. The fact is, though, that the program works. Even though I haven’t taken any before pictures (which I don’t think any of you would like to see anyways!), I have noticed a difference in my muscle development around the bum. I have also seen quite a difference in Melinda’s as well. Brazil Butt Lift claims to lift the bum, and I’m here to verify that it does just that!
If you’re a guy and feel that Brazil Butt Lift is just for women, try it out once and you’ll think differently. These workouts aren’t just for women, and there are butt workouts for men out there! If you want to make it tougher, which you don’t really need to do, add in a weighted vest. This morning I used a 20 lbs weighted vest for the workout, and I struggled through the entire thing! I got one of the best leg workouts I’ve gotten in quite a while. There is no doubt that I will be sore for the next few days. So if you’re wondering how to tone the butt, now you have a solution!
