One of my best friends, Greg, who also happens to be a Beachbody Coach on my team, just went through Insanity and has seen awesome Insanity results! His goal when he started was to cut the fat and get ripped, and he has been doing just that. Read his Insanity Review below.
Greg’s Insanity Review:
“From the initial fit test at the beginning to the final fit test at the end, Insanity is one of the most extreme, intense fitness programs I have ever been involved in. Insanity takes you to levels that you would not think were possible to reach. Insanity is max interval training which keeps your heart rate at a high level for longer periods of time, then gives you short rests that brings your heart rate down before spiking it back up. No weights or anything needed, just be ready to do extreme cardio training. By doing an Insanity workout, you can burn up to 1000 calories per workout. You will definitely push yourself to the limit.
The First Insanity workout I did was the fit test, which even though it doesn’t seem like it would be too complicated, prepped me for what was going to be a crazy intense, extreme workout series. The first thirty days made me push myself harder than I ever have before. I lost 7 lbs. and about 2% body fat. After having a recovery week in between months, the second half began. Thinking the first half was hard, I was not even prepared for the second half. Everything is to the max in this series; longer workouts, harder exercises and keeping your heart rate to the max even longer. After finishing the second half, I had lost another five lbs. and got down to 8% body fat. I got into the best shape of my life in those 60 days by Digging Deeper and pushing myself to the max!”
