I don’t know about you all, but Melinda and I are SUPER pumped about the new Turbo Fire workout program coming out! For those of you who haven’t heard anything about it, it’s like the Insanity to P90X, but it’s the next level Turbo Jam program. If you haven’t read my previous post about Turbo Fire, I mentioned in there that I got a chance to experience a 10 minute sample of the program during the group workout out there in L.A. Let me just say that this program is seriously INTENSE! Read my Turbo Fire review below.
My Turbo Fire Review: From what I experienced from the 10 minutes I got to try out Turbo Fire with Chalene Johnson, this program is going to be a great one. Now that I’m doing Insanity and know what it’s all about, I would say that Turbo Fire is very similar to it in the intensity aspect. In just 10 minutes I was already sweating, very similar to what happens to me with the Insanity warm-up. I would say Turbo Fire is a mix of plyometrics, aerobics, kickboxing, and dancing. It involves HIIT, or high intensity interval training, which is said to burn more calories than regular cardio. Like I said above, Melinda and I can’t wait for this program to come out!
